A number of legendary performances, touring mainly small venues in the eastern United States and Canada, with almost no advance notice. This is a 14CD limited box set featuring five performances from the first leg of the ROLLING THUNDER REVUE tour, which took place from the fall of '75 to '76.
This legendary musical variety show featured JOAN BAEZ, RAMBLIN' JACK ELLIOTT, ROGER MCGUINN, ALLEN GINSBERG, MICK RONSON, and others. The traveling troupe tour was filmed at the same time, and the film "RENALDO & CLARA" was released in 1978.
First, three discs contain three newly discovered rehearsal recordings from before the tour began, and ten discs completely compile the five main performances with new mixes from professional recordings. In addition, a bonus disc of rare recordings is included, making a total of 14 CDs of extremely valuable recordings. This is a must-have box set for fans, with over 100 unreleased tracks out of a total of 148 songs. This is a different excavation project from the regular bootleg series that has been released many times before.
