Introduction by William Allan Neilson and a 'Life of Shakespeare' by the late James Orchard Halliwell-Phillips. Manfuactured in the USA. Leather type cover with gilt edging on the pages. No water damage, stains, tears, missing pages, or writing except pencil scribble inside front cover that I was worried I would make worse if I erased. Front cover damaged as pictured (fold/bend) which I adjusted the price for significantly. Clean, pet-free and smoke-free home. I've had for quite some time... I have a few more from my library listed if you want to check them out.
