1989 Philadelphia minted dime, underweight only 1.94 grams!; A normal dime weighs 2.27 grams!
This coin is completly missing the nickel-clad outer layer of the dime!
This missing clad on the obverse exposes the copper core, giving the coin a reddish appearance on that side. These errors will add tremendous value to coins, especially if the missing clad layer is on the obverse side, which is often more desirable to collectors!
