• Upgrade the flywheel in your 1989+ Corvette with this Fidanza Lightweight High Performance Aluminum Flywheel.
• The flywheel is made from high quality 6061 T6 aluminum, which makes it strong, gives it great heat dissipation, and reduced weight. The friction surface is made from strong 1045 steel. They can be replaced and attached with military grade aerospace fasteners, and can save you money in the long run since you don't need to replace the entire flywheel. The friction plates are milled to very high specs. The ring gears are made from 1050 steel and are heat treated to make them durable. They're heated first, then pressed on, and are secured with grade 8 button screws.
• Fidanza uses a stepped dowel system. This ensures that once the pressure plate is installed, the dowels can't be removed because they become locked in place.
