The nose pads have been customized to titanium clip-on pads. This significantly improves the fit and the appearance complements classic glasses, adding a sense of luxury. Highly recommended for those who have found it difficult to keep celluloid frames from slipping.

The condition is excellent as it has hardly been used. Non-prescription lenses are installed, so it can be used immediately. (I also have prescription lenses on hand, which I will include. I do not know the prescription.)

American Optical (AO), the world's oldest existing eyewear manufacturer, was founded in 1833. In Japan, in 2021 (2020 in the US), they took a new step as a relaunch collection, featuring the ORIGINAL PILOT, GENERAL, SARATOGA, and TIMES. The Explorer, one of these, faithfully reproduces the atmosphere of the 1960s and is a long-awaited revival based on the "Safety Glass" supplied to the US military at the time. The AO logo is added to the front, and it has been newly released. All processes are reproduced by skilled American craftsmen, achieving comfort, size, nose width, and ease of wear. The allure felt from the simple shape is a point of arrival that other brands try to emulate but cannot quite reach.
