A very nice unique ring that has been handcrafted from a ring base, a purple raw amethyst crystal point and the electro forming copper plating method.
The unique shape of the crystal holds various angles and is beautiful and simple at the same time. The design worked into the copper is a wrapped tail around the stone and a swirl on the band.
The ring itself is a hand crafted setting that's been electro formed in copper, grinded, patinaed, polished, then sealed for protection.
The copper has electroplated to the ring over a period of 4-48 hours, allowing copper to organically grow to the structure in a one of a kind fashion, forming a thick copper plating. The metalwork is then grinded, hand patinaed then polished and sealed.
Recycled parts : recycled copper water pipes were used in the electroforming process.
