Araldite 2014-3 is a two-component, room-temperature curing, sag-resistant epoxy paste adhesive and the improved replacement for the legacy Araldite 2014 US system. Featuring an enhanced chemical safety profile, this advanced dark grey thixotropic paste delivers superior structural bonding for metals, electronic components, composite materials, and other substrates exposed to high temperatures or aggressive environments. The 2:1 mix ratio (by weight/volume) formula offers a generous working time of approximately 120 minutes at 73°F, giving you greater flexibility during application. It reaches handling strength in just 4 hours and full working strength in 6 hours. Key upgrades over the previous formula include a significantly higher glass transition temperature of 156°F (up from 127°F), superior resistance to water and heat aging, and better long-term strength retention. The cured adhesive delivers a tensile strength of 45 MPa and a tensile modulus of 3,700 MPa. Non-sagging and gap-filling up to approximately 3/16 inch, it holds firm against water, gasoline, lubricants, and a wide range of chemicals including Xylene and IMS.
