The new Ashford Traveller 3 is reminiscent of the original Traveller. The Traveller 3 was redesign and has some great improvements. It's sure to be very popular. Features: - A beautiful, classic upright castle wheel with a compact footprint. - Aesthetically designed centralised flyer is suitable for both left and right hand spinners. - Double treadle for comfortable, balanced, and effortless treadling. - Four speed single drive flyer. - Comes with three 90 millimeter bobbins. - Bobbin capacity: 4-5 ounces (130 grams). - stretchy polycord drive band eliminates flyer vibration and makes changing ratios a breeze. - Ratios 5, 7, 9 and 14:1 - Orifice Height 31.75 inches (80.5 centimeters). - Wooden handle threading hook stores within easy reach. - Scotch tension for simple, smooth accurate tension adjustment. - Built-in lazy kate (that will also accommodate Jumbo bobbins). - The 18 inch diameter (46 centimeters) drive wheel is now heavier resulting in 20% more momentum for easier treadling. - Stainless steel ball bearings, polyurethane hinge and con rod joints. - Assemble required. - Made from beech hardwood. - The Wood is unfinished.
