Automatic Viscosity Timer Bath with Saybolt Tubes by Koehler Instrument Company, Inc.

This constant temperature bath features automatic timing for viscosity measurements using Saybolt viscometer tubes and orifices. With a single button press, the automatic timer initiates sample flow, detects the 60mL endpoint, and precisely records and displays efflux time with 0.1-second resolution and 0.05% accuracy. This enhances testing accuracy and convenience, eliminating the need for manual timing and chain and cork assemblies. The timer can be installed in any configuration from 1 to 4 positions. The bath's interior is fully insulated and made of heavy-duty stainless steel. A built-in overflow pipe and drain valve simplify filling the bath fluid to the correct level. The chemical-resistant top plate offers excellent insulation and is easily removable for cleaning. A cooling coil for tap water or refrigerated coolant enables operation at near-ambient temperatures. The steel cabinet has leveling feet and a chemical-resistant polyurethane-epoxy finish.
