Caplugs Evergreen Slide-Fix Jars are plastic containers with lids that offer protection, preservation, and transportation of Pap smear slides, fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsies and other small samples. Our PAP Series jars have a volume capacity of 30 mL and can hold up to four standard (25 x 75 mm) microscope slides, providing fortress-like protection while in transit. They also have a diameter of 30 mm, a height of 98 mm. These small jars are natural-colored with a wide variety of cap colors to color-code your inventory. This specific model has a green screw-cap that is leakproof, double-sealed and has been vacuum chamber-tested to ensure that it closes tightly every time. These jars are constructed from polypropylene co-polymer (PPC), a material that is highly resistant to a variety of chemicals. More rigid and durable and less prone to cracking under stress or pressure, it also has excellent temperature stability and is biologically inert.
