A pure 999/1000 fine solid silver lined aroma bottle, considered pure silver, same as the contents of the bar. silver, superimposed on an aromatic bottle with a beautiful iris design engraved in Art Nouveau style.The beautiful thick gauge silver pattern is superimposed on the glass bottle, with the stopper formed in the same way. Silver overlay or silver deposit, as some manufacturers called it at the time, was a way of patterning silver by leaving visible glass between the pattern. The technique and workmanship are beautiful and make them collectible and highly sought after items today.This round scent bottles the first two in the photos were made by Alvin Silver of USA, the largest and leading manufacturer of silver liners. It is marked with the patent number, its registration mark 999/1000 on the edge of the base.Description The first two bottles show a break inside. The other two are in perfect condition.
