Confessions of a Kept Woman: Acquiescing to the Rest of God

How am I going to make it? How can I relax and let Him take care of me? Being a strong, independent woman I never thought to depend on a man to do anything for me. How was I supposed to fall in love with Him when I've never been in love? These questions plagued my mind for most of my life. I did not understand how I was supposed to “cast my cares” tangibly and not worry about them. As I continued to make mistakes and overcome trials, God began to show me more. Times when I thought I was in control, I really wasn’t. I was and will always be His!Entering the rest of God is a place that brings me to tears, give me peace, and teaches me joy. The more I matured in Christ, the more I realized that I can literally “cast my cares (Psalm 55:22)” on God, ALL OF THEM!
