The 101st Air Assault Division traces its origins to the 101st Airborne Division, an elite air assault unit of the United States Army. Originally established as a parachute infantry division during World War II, it was later reorganized as an airmobile division during the Vietnam War and subsequently designated as an air assault division, utilizing helicopters for rapid aerial assaults and swift advances.

In terms of attire, Captain Winters comes dressed in authentic WWII U.S. Army paratrooper uniform and trousers, topped with a paratrooper helmet and secured with a belt. His feet are clad in brown paratrooper boots. The paratrooper uniform and trousers are crafted from soft, comfortable fabric, complemented by a yellow life jacket and brown paratrooper boots—elevating Winters’ portrayal of the 101st Airborne’s elite, spirited combat-ready image.

The M1 Garand rifle, one of the primary weapons of U.S. airborne forces during WWII, is included for its renowned reliability, accuracy, and ease of maintenance. Its semi-automatic firing capability delivers sustained firepower. Also featured are a deadly combat dagger and hanger for close-quarters combat. Additionally, Winters comes equipped with a compact M1911 pistol and holster, celebrated for its unmatched stopping power, reliability, durability, and ease of maintenance.
