Disney Harmony Kingdom Alice in Wonderland teapot. It is pre-owned with original box and is in excellent condition.
This is a hollow box made by Harmony Kingdom (based in Great Britain) and was made in 2001.
It is sculpted by artist Robert King, and is made of crushed marble and has been cast from molds made in the style of netsuke, a form of small sculpture that originated in Japan during the 17th century, becoming popular in 19th century Europe.
The piece has different characters around a teapot. The characters are: Alice, Queen and King of Hearts, Tweedle Dee and Dum, some flowers from the Golden Afternoon garden, the Mad Hatter, and the White Rabbit. On the removable top is the Cheshire Cat, a pencil bird, and an oyster. Under the removable top is the Dormouse inside its own teapot.
Dimensions of this piece are 3in x 2.5in x 2in. It is number 1707/1951 and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
