The EX00TIN machine tap from Dormer for metric coarse threads is made from powder metal High Speed cobalt to give you superior performance with an extended tool life. Further performance improvements when threading harder materials are achieved through the titanium nitride coating. The EX00TIN taps are manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization. They have a spiral flute design, making them great for threading blind holes and are very versatile, being suitable for creating threads in a wide variety of materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steels.
