The D for The Denver mint was not pressed hard enough during the minting process and it slid to the right without fully striking the coin. This is an extremely rare and valuable coin. This coin is a Denver minted coin without the full mintmark.
The mintmark is partially struck and it is also struck to the righy of where it should have. You can see the example picture of where it should have been struck and how the struke should have looked. This coin is quite literally one in a billion.
This coin is in extremely good high mint condition, with some beautiful color or toning to it. A truly beautiful coin.
