The dust jacket is unclipped and shows the original price of $6.95 on the top corner of the front flap and the publisher’s code "0571" is printed on the bottom of the front flap.
On the back panel, there is a photograph of William Peter Blatty holding a coffee cup in his right hand. Later printings used a different photo where he is not holding the cup.
