Large selenium rectifier made by MODEL RECTIFIER in Brooklyn, New York.
This imposing, large selenium rectifier is reminiscent of the field units that appear in the magazine "Kankyū Ōkoku" (Tube Kingdom).
The dimensions are approximately 9.7cm (height) x 13cm (width) x 7.5cm (depth, base).
The mechanism outputs DC, with positive from the red terminal and negative from the black terminal, when AC is input from the yellow terminals.
In the image, 9.35VDC is output with a 10VAC input.
This item was stored indoors as a spare for the excitation power supply of a WE555.
Considering its age, it is believed to be in good condition. Please use it after aging.
