Finger Limes (.25 lb)

Caviar limes, a native fruit of Australia, have a slightly sour, slightly sweet flavor that makes for an extremely versatile citrus. Often referred to as vegan caviar or finger limes, each lime is filled with citrus pearls similar in appearance and texture to fish roe. There's nothing fishy about the flavor. These pearls have a unique lime taste distinct in its sweetness that adds a pop of fun and surprise that never ceases to delight. We love caviar limes in anything that calls for lime, but particular stand-outs are as a garnish for seafood, to add a crunch and texture to guacamole, in light beer, cocktails, bubbly drinks, dressings and jams, salads, and squeezed a top dragon fruit or passion fruit. Bakers and pastry chefs love our limes for fruit pies, tarts, and macaroons. To separate and release pearls, cut in half the short-way and squeeze. For a beautiful display or garnish, cut limes length-wise.
