Beautiful FM Rommeby Konstglas Art Glass Bird Paperweight. Made in Sweden, this hand blown glass bird is gorgeous with its grey and clear glass bird sculpture with bubbly fumato technique. This feathered bubble effect made with a fumato glass making technique, which means "smoked", a technique which involves exposing the glass to smoke from a fire, to give the glass a smoky color by picking up particles of unburnt ember and ash from the smoke. This piece has a smooth bottom and is not signed and would have had a paper label.
This bird art glass measures 4 1/2" high x 4" long x 2 1/4" wide and is in good pre-owned condition free of any chips or cracks. Please see all pictures for condition. A gorgeous piece of art glass perfect to put on display or would make a wonderful gift.
