This dress is a beautiful vintage piece of 1950s/ early 60s fashion. This is like something from a movie set. It would be beautiful for a unique vintage look for a wedding, races, dance, party, burlesque. The price reflects the quality, condition and history of this dress. I have worn this just once after purchasing it in perfect pre-loved condition. I could also see this being used on stage/ TV / Film as authentic costuming. It is in heavy shot satin brocade. It is pictured with me wearing it with pink petticoats, these petticoats are not included in this sale, but can be easily purchased separately. It is sized up by measurements and says it is designed for the 5ft 3in lady.
