This is the DVD set for the original animated television series George of the Jungle. The series, which was created by Jay Ward and Bill Scott, originally aired for 17 episodes from September 9 to December 30, 1967, on the ABC network. The show is known for its title character, a clumsy but good-hearted man-child who is a parody of Tarzan, and his famous catchphrase "Watch out for that tree!".
The DVD release features all 17 episodes of the classic cartoon and also includes bonus material such as the original pilot cartoons for "George of the Jungle" and "Super Chicken". The complete series was released on DVD in 2008 by Classic Media
