German sounding name that was, and may still be, a marketing gimmick. Made in Japan, probably late 1970s to early '80s, I just finished cleaning and enhancing this nifty set that has an unusually wide Field of View (FoV) of 11.5*. No longer being produced, about the widest you'll find for less than $5000 would be a 9.3*. The wider views make it easier to spot movement. I saw my first passing satellite one night using a similar, if slightly narrower, 11* 7x35. Our own moon looks awesome through them! And these are now bright enough to spot the moons of Jupiter on a dark night.
Prisms cleaned and bottom ones blacked. Focuser mechanisms lubed. They are in fantastic cosmetic shape. Also fixed up the beat up case. Has all four original lens caps. Fold down rubber eye cups are pliable.
Most easily charge $100++ just for a cleaning!!!
