Pictures do not do this coin justice. The bronze color really pops on this coin. It depicts King Leonidas’s Spartan Helmet on the front, and the “tail” of the coin has his shield and sword.

I got this coin while stationed on Camp Lemonnier djibouti
Africa from a “coin con” and it was tough to get my hands on because there were very few.
It wasn’t until after I acquired the coin that someone told me they believed it was a Seal Team 6 DEVGRU coin, making this a rare piece.
It’s posted to sell on eBay for $700-800 and up, and while I think that’s a bit ridiculous for a coin, I don’t want to give this one away.
I hope it finds a good and fitting home.
