I am quoting information I found online, so please excuse any errors.
This is the Kenwood portable MD player, DMC-M55. It was released in mid-December 2000 and supports the MDLP (Long Playback/Recording) standard.
Key Features:
MDLP Support: Allows for up to 320 minutes of recording and playback on a single disc.
Extended Playback: Combined use of the included rechargeable battery and AA alkaline batteries enabled up to approximately 100 hours (or more, with some information suggesting a maximum of 158 hours) of continuous playback in LP4 mode.
Digital Amplifier: Employs a digital amplifier to reduce sound quality degradation and achieve low power consumption.
The included accessories are all shown in the photos.
Power has been confirmed (see photo 12), but since there are no tapes, I haven't been able to check everything. I'm listing this as junk. Please understand that this is a used item before purchasing.
