The Dowst Brothers of Chicago started making miniature doll furniture in the 1920's which became quite popular and was marketed as "Tootsietoy". Tootsietoy was named after a granddaughter. The furniture was made until 1937 with designs changing to reflect the style of the era. It was made of soft cast metal in 1/2" (1:24) scale.
This 4+ piece set includes two crackle armchairs, a crackle footstool and a crackle console table.
All pieces are in fairly nice condition with some paint loss on all pieces. Please see all photos and feel free to ask any questions.
