Low numbered Steinbach Sir Lancelot Nutcracker

Model S638 Sir Lancelot Nutcracker is a limited edition low numbered piece by the renowned German nutcracker maker Steinbach and part of the Arthurian Legend Camelot Series. He is 17” tall and was introduced around 1992 and is numbered 1274 from a 12,000 release. Distributed by Kurt A. Adler, Inc. N.Y. he is wooden and hand painted and lived in a smoke free house his entire life. Sir Lancelot is depicted in medieval knight attire, including a plumed helmet and heraldic shield-reflecting his role as one of the Knights of the Round Table. His cape is blue and has a hidden sword strapped behind the shield.
