String and Dice (Stop Dice)

This is a colored dice with a string running through it.
If you hold the ends of the string with both hands, the dice will naturally slide from top to bottom. You can show this a few times. However, when the magician commands Stop , the dice will stop abruptly. And when they say Go , it will fall again. Even if you give it to the audience, the dice will not move.

It seems to be like a predecessor to the Cubio. It's an old item from the Showa era.
