The Delcast MBX Magnetizer / Demagnetizer magnetizes steel and any iron metal alloy. Use it to magnetize screwdrivers, tweezers, picks, hooks and other small tools in your collection. The MBX is especially useful for magnetizing screwdriver blades, making it easier to retrieve, install and remove screws during a project. It can also degauss tools for projects in which magnetic properties are not desired, such as magnetic hard disk drive repair. The magnetizing channel measures 2.75 L * 1.5 W *3 D (CM). The demangetizing channel features a step down design, measuring from 2.75 to 1.75 W.
