Inline carbon filters (post carbon filters) are made of high quality coconut shell carbon particles to improve the taste, purity and can reduce or absorb chlorine off-tastes and odors. They can also significantly reduce the carbon fines found in many activated carbon filter cartridge's. Designed for inline application that requires lower flows and volumes such as RO water systems, point-of -use dispensers, etc.
- Typical service life is 6-12 months depending on volume filtered and sediment levels.
- Recommended service temperature: 40-113 degrees.
- Flush 5 gallons of water through the filter before first use.
