About the item: Sgrafo Modern vase, designed by Peter Muller in the 1950s. 3074 is a double-spout design with a bulbous shape, one of the Korallenform (coral forms) series. Made of white porcelain with a pebbled textured surface. About 9” tall, 6.25” diameter at widest point. Stamped bottom Sgrafo Modern Germany and blind stamped with the model number.
About the maker: in 1955 two brothers, Peter and Klaus Muller, opened a small porcelain factory in Germany and created some of the most modern, futuristic-looking pieces from the postwar period. This is one of their most collected series.
