This book is about looking back and remembering, but I also realised it is actually a "training manual" on prayer. Stories are the best trainers. I have to admit that I have a bias towards stories! This is how I learn - and I am sure you will also. Thirdly, yes, this is a testimony to the fact that God is alive and that the Holy Spirit is real, the Bible trustworthy, and all God's good promises are trustworthy. A last remark: go and write your own book of remembrance - write what God is doing in your own life and through you - go and write your own God-story - be diligent in it - read back every year what you wrote about what God has been doing in the last year.
