Edited based on small notebooks and sketchbooks that remained after traveling to London/Hong Kong in the 1980s. Pencil drawings and collages of printed matter scraps. A separate sheet includes text by Ohtake.
In 1980, after graduating from Musashino Art University, Shinro Ohtake spent four months in London from May, followed by two months in Hong Kong. This book consists of landscape and figure drawings in pencil from that time, along with collages of printed matter collected from the city's trash bins. The entire book is an irregular art book, like a sketchbook. This book, which he designed himself for the first time, won the ADC Grand Prize in 1987.
