The 120°F brass thermostat maintains proper engine operating temperature by controlling coolant flow through the powerhead. A malfunctioning thermostat can cause overheating or overcooling, leading to poor performance and accelerated engine wear. This all-in-one kit includes every component needed for a complete thermostat service: thermostat, poppet valve, cup, diaphragm, spring, dual gaskets, elbow fitting, screw, and cable tie.
