Plastic straws, perfect for creating your own delicious honey sticks or honey straws using Anthony's Beehive's Honey Straw Machine - the Goldrush, as well as other honey straw machines such as the Honey Press. This box contains 2,000 UN-sealed straws ready for you to fill with your favorite honey varieties or other viscous liquids. Many manufacturers produce straws that vary in diameter or don't quite fit the Goldrush, so we have taken the plunge and procured custom-sized straws from a manufacturer in the United States. These straws are15/64" diameter x 7" length. They are BPA free and have a slightly thicker wall, resulting in a rigidity more desirable for making honey straws. Each order contains a couple dozen extra straws to compensate for the uncommon occurance of unusable or defective straws. These extra are pre-sealed so that you can get an idea what it is like working with those. Note: when using 7" straws instead of the industry standard, each pound of honey will yield more straws. Also available in boxes of 1,000, as well as a pre-sealed version.
