The GV-E400 series is a diesel car that started operating since 2019 to replace conventional vehicles such as the KiHa 40 series. The GV-E401 and GV-E402 shape are equal to the GV-E400 shape and performance, but the single-drive carriage is used in a fixed 2-car structure.
