Tranquil rose quilt in pink, green, and grey

This mini quilt is one-of-a-kind, based on a jelly roll called Heather from Maywood Studios, using a pattern from Jo-Ann Fabrics. The matching fabrics in pink, green, grey, and cream with their delicate rose motifs outline a central diamond of white and grey roses. The quilting is done in a straight-line pattern that emphasizes the swirling, diagonal nature of the pattern. The binding is done with the same material as the center, providing a crisp white finish. One photo shows the corners, double-stitched with a zigzag stitch to keep everything in place. The last photo shows the backing, using complementary rose and green prints along with a few leftover bits from the front, in traditional quilting style.

The quilt measures around 48" square. With its calming combination of pink, grey, and green, it could be a baby quilt or could hang on the nursery wall, or anywhere else you need a breath of spring! It has been washed and stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home in a roll to minimize
