A unique brown 70s crochet cap adorned with numerous strands of shells & shell embellishments. Features delicate flower accents with pearl centers & a cascading fringe of natural shells.
NOTE It is missing shell flowers on the cap. Otherwise an amazing handcrafted piece.
Preloved in great vintage condition.
The base is brown crochet/woven nylon, with natural cowrie shells attached to individual strands.
The shells are sliced to show the inner patterns and are crocheted into the strands to form a fringe that drapes down, resembling a wig or crown.
This piece is original vintage from the 1970s.
