This Vintage collectible flask is German made from 1970's. There's an intricate embossed image on one side depicting a Huntsman & his hound dog returning home. The man is smoking a pipe with one hand & carrying a hog on his shoulder. They reside in a cottage surrounded by the trees of the forest.
This 20L Jerry canister style flask measures 4.75" x 3.50" x 1.25". It may have been used for decoration only as the cork isn't stained with liquor. There are no cracks, dents or holes on the flask, therefore no leaks. It has minor blemishes & scruff marks due to old age.. There's 94% ZINN mark on the bottom of flask. (Since the time when Lead was banned because of its harmfulness, most pewter products in Europe have been stamped, depending on their origin, ZINN 95, PEWTER 95, ÉTAIN 95, indicating the Alloy used contained 95% tin. Stamp of ZINN is indication of German made).
