This listing is for a vintage handblown studio art glass vase in a soft amethyst hue. The vase features a rounded ovoid form with applied spiral ribbing around the upper body and a polished, slightly flared rim. Was originally purchased from Glasshouse Studios, a respected Seattle gallery known for representing Pacific Northwest studio glass artists. The base is hand-etched with the mark “AMF-W '86” (very difficult to photograph so it shows, but it is there). Subtle seed bubbles, gentle asymmetry, and a hand-finished base confirm handblown studio production, not pressed or mold-made glass. A strong decorative example with clear Seattle studio provenance.
Height: 6.75". Width (widest point): 4". Rim: 2.75". Very good vintage condition. No cracks, chips, or repairs. Light base wear consistent with age and shelf display. Minor bubbles and surface variations consistent with handblown glass.
